Assign Yourself to a Match (Judges)
Assigning yourself to a match lets other staff know you’re covering that table.
- Open the active tournament.
- Go to the current round’s match list.
- Find and open the match you’re covering.
- Tap the staff assignment dropdown.
- Assign yourself.
- Return to the match list or continue from the match detail view.
The match will now show that a judge/staff member is assigned. Judge-level accounts may only be able to assign or remove themselves – this is expected, not a bug.
Assign Staff to a Match (Organizers, Admins, Scorekeepers)
For larger events with multiple judges or floor staff, organizers/admins/scorekeepers can assign any staff member to any match.
- Open the active tournament.
- Go to the current round’s match list.
- Find and open the match that needs staff assigned.
- Open the staff/judge assignment option.
- Select the staff member to assign.
- Save/confirm.
Repeat as needed for additional staff or matches.
To unassign a judge, tap their name again.
Notes
- A single match can have multiple assigned staff members.
- Permission level determines what you can do: Admins, event owners, and scorekeepers can assign other staff; judge-level accounts typically have a more limited, self-service-only workflow.
