Melee.gg is committed to making sure that payments taken on our platform are accurate and legitimate. The best way we can do this is by assisting customers in a friendly and timely manner if they believe there is a fraudulent charge on their account from our platform. We always recommend customers reach out to the Tournament Organizer before filing a dispute with their financial institution. Once the financial institution is involved, cases accrue fees and often take weeks to months for a resolution. If there is no response from the organizer, please contact Melee for assistance.

Any account that files a dispute (chargeback) against Melee.gg that is found to be illegitimate by us or the Tournament Organizer will be suspended. This suspension can be lifted if the account holder contacts Melee and repays the entry and dispute fees.
