Within the Player Card, the Player Status dropdown includes designations for players that have specific functions within Melee.
Active
- Default status for in-progress tournaments.
- Active players will be paired for matches.
Cut
- Player did not meet the requirements to progress to a phase with a cut.
- Cut players will not be paired for matches.
Disqualified
- Player committed an infraction and was removed from the tournament.
- Disqualified players will not be paired for matches.
- Additional paperwork or tasks may be required based on the game system.
Dropped (Self/Staff)
- Player reported not wanting to continue (Staff) or confirmed a self-drop (Self).
- Dropped players will not be paired for matches.
Eliminated
- Player lost an elimination match in playoffs or elimination phase.
- Eliminated players will not be paired for matches.
Enrolled
- Player completed registration for the tournament.
- Status changes to Active after Start Tournament action.
- Enrolled players will not be paired for matches; manual change to Active is needed for late enrollment.
No Show
- Player did not arrive at the match table on time.
- Equivalent to a Dropped player; No Show players will not be paired for matches.
Preregistered
- Players mass imported before the tournament starts.
- Preregistered players need to confirm registration via Tournament View page.
- Preregistered players will not be paired for matches.
Qualified
- Players receive an automatic win (bye) for each round after this status is set.
- Not paired for regular matches.
- Used in tournaments with a cut-off point for automatic qualification based on amassed wins.
Unenrolled (Decklist, Payment, Waitlist)
- Players unenrolled due to administrative issues.
- Unenrolled players will not be paired for matches.
- Designations indicate the type of issue they had (Decklist, Payment, Waitlist).
